Merry Christmas, Terre! Have a good show. Listening on-line here in a freezing cold Reading, England. I'm sure your wonderful selection will warm me up!!

  3:23pm listener mark:

Hi Terre !
  3:25pm Laura:

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Terre T. makes Saturday chores fun!
  3:30pm PB:

I thought I was the biggest Ty Segall fan on the east coast but I think Terre has me beat.
  3:30pm Laura:

This is one of many recent playlists (not just WFMU--all over the place) that includes Ty Segall and Thee Oh Sees. Paging Mikal Cronan!
  3:33pm Elias:

Wow! This song is mighty. I will seek this 45 for my jukebox.
  3:41pm jahna:

Oh, yes, Terre. Keep the RAWK coming. Perfect for today.

XO
Jahna
  3:44pm Mark in DC:

Silverhead? I don't think I should be listening today. Happy coming week all!
  3:46pm Mike Sin:

re: Skyband
The band had a full LP released on in '75. A couple of dudes from Tin Tin formed this band. I like the whole LP. A lot of harmony/poppy moments on it.
  3:51pm Mark Watkins:

Smashing stuff! All good. The Royal Headache just blew me away!
  3:52pm Laura:

They wanna join the James Gang the 60s-70s band or the James Gang the19th-century outlaw family?
  3:56pm Jaja:

GI LOVE WFMU! Greetings from Singapore.
  3:56pm Stu:

First you played Skyband....Now you're playing Sky's band
  3:58pm Mike Sin:

I hoping we'll hear something from the band "Sky" -- Doug Fieger's band from 1970-1971! ;)
  3:58pm hugh lively:

thanks
  3:59pm Laura:

Throw in Skyhooks while we're at it. No, don't.
  4:00pm listener mark:

Hi Terre
it's been some time since I've been able to
listen & I've really missed hearing your show...
it's been a extra rough year...I'll still try to make
good on the unpaid pledge...more on the upside,
watch your mail for the 2011 Merry "Rock Against
Bullshit" Christmas Vol. 6. I received 10 copies
today in the mail from Maria down in Australia.
I'll be mailing out to you this Mon. the 12th.
Great 1st hour of the show today!
  4:17pm David Shortell:

  4:21pm ross:

  4:21pm Keilidh:

My family is always talking about reading the packaging on cds, looking at all the pictures and liner notes on albums... I missed all of that and now I have A.D.D. so I watch the pretty pixels.
  4:25pm Keilidh:

oops! I forgot the most important part of that thought. Now I have all the albums and cds in the music library where I can hang out and do that.
  4:27pm Laura:

This Human Switchboard track would make a great theme song!
  4:30pm the glowing one:

  4:33pm AP Paulie B:

  4:41pm Todd 76%:

I think you're right about a Waitresses connection w/ Human Switchboard...They were associated with the 'Numbers' band (Tin Huey/Waitresses precursor) Can't find credits online, but that sounds like Ralph Carney sax on Saturday's Girl.
  4:43pm David Shortell:

Black Wine play Asbury Lanes tomorrow.
  4:46pm Transit Punk:

This punk is riding the NJ Transit Train. No bottles to smash unfortunately.
  4:50pm ScottC:
