Got a couple of hours sleep last night, house alarm woke me up, someone tried to get the front door open, fun fun!

And over they years, people like Pablo Picasso and Laura Nyro have died on your b-day. And they do celebrate Buddha's birthday on your birthday, so that's nice.

I always thought that if Bond had to marry someone, of course the only woman who could get him to marry would be Emma Peel! @Brick: yes indeed. I always loved Wyndgarde. And he looks way better without a moustache. Also loved him as Number 2 on "The Prisoner". That voice saying the great dialogue...

Although I suspect some Rigg fans liked it when the daughter did all the lesbian sex scenes on "Tipping the Velvet". @Brick: I think Linda is underrated, but not as good as the other 3. I just think the type of character she played was not as appealing to me.

	5:38am other david: Caryn - my god, I didnt realise she looked that much like her mother, that is spooky. More of Le Carré style spy fiction fan myself, Ingrid Pitt actually had a small role in the BBC's adaption of Smiley's People. I still havent watched the big screen adaption of Tinker, Tailor - a lot of fans of the Beeb adaption & book are highly critica and the trailer looked all wrong - which has put me off.

	5:41am pierre: @ Brick Van Dee : it made by and with the same director, and the same actor as this The Artist movie. I don't know if translated it keeps its dark self-french humour, but its worth a vision. 2 movies made so far, the second it very great.
	5:42am Julie: I think the director and his wife (in the Artist) were there when I went to Telluride. The movie was good.
	5:43am Brick Van Dee: @pierre I was just reading about "The Artist" the other day, it sounds great. The only French comedy I know is Tati, but as it's physical comedy it "translates" perfectly...

	5:47am Caryn: WIth all the talk of Danger Mouse and translation difficulties, I'm reminded of the weirdness of "Magic Roundabout" and of how all the psychedelia was thanks to the new scripts written when they transferred the show from France to Britain. All thanks to Emma Thompson's dad! Anyone seen the Magic Roundabout movie "Dougal and the Blue Cat"? All about a cat who lives on the moon, loves jazz, and has plans for garden domination... Awesome.

	5:52am Caryn: The movie also has a great jazzy soundtrack, and is even more out there than the series. And on a related note, the "Magic Roundabout" title music has always creeped me out. It's like the music that would accompany some twisted killer dressed in circus gear. Like Pennywise the Clown in "It" or something...

The Birthday Massacre was great; first time I heard of Forthcoming Fire, Victorian Parents and Impressions of Winter. First time hearing "Get It On" by Blondie! NOT the first time I heard Bananarama singing the Sex Pistols (courtesy of the last Valentine's show!) Great show once again, Julie!
	12:02am Matt from Springfield: I was confused at first why "fabio" (@3:41, whether FMU's Fabio or not) said "you know, it's National Punch Marty Balin in the Mouth Day"; but then once I heard the Jefferson Airplane song "The Other Side of This Life" at that point in the show, I suddenly recognized it: THAT was the song they were playing in the film "Gimme Shelter" at Altamont! When the first significant Hell's Angels fight broke out, one of them punched Marty on stage, interrupting the song. So I looked up Altamont and sure enough: Dec 6 1969, it was the anniversary of that that day. So whether it was a coincidence or not, you happened to play that JA track on the anniversary of Altamont and someone very subtly pointed that out! What an astonishing puzzle and solution!

Loving this Inkkbus Sukkubus track (I've listened to their live set a few times now, love em!) mmm they are still playing reruns of the Avengers here, Diana Rigg is hot ^_^ hehe, James bond is good & Danger mouse! i love that show. and Count Duckula! that is sad one of the creators died recently...just makes me feel older... Don't know much about Le Carre...or OSS 117... The Visitors is one of my favourite french comedy movies ^_^ (I like the Tati movie with the postman on the bike) Don't know much about the Magic Roundabout.... Bananarama Pistols cover was pretty funny ^_^ I remember doing the Floyd/Oz synch thing & we thought it didn't match up very well... More of Le Carré style spy fiction fan myself, Ingrid Pitt actually had a small role in the BBC's adaption of Smiley's People. I still havent watched the big screen adaption of Tinker, Tailor - a lot of fans of the Beeb adaption & book are highly critica and the trailer looked all wrong - which has put me off.

All thanks to Emma Thompson's dad! Anyone seen the Magic Roundabout movie "Dougal and the Blue Cat"? All about a cat who lives on the moon, loves jazz, and has plans for garden domination... Awesome.

NOT the first time I heard Bananarama singing the Sex Pistols (courtesy of the last Valentine's show!) Great show once again, Julie!
	12:02am Matt from Springfield: I was confused at first why "fabio" (@3:41, whether FMU's Fabio or not) said "you know, it's National Punch Marty Balin in the Mouth Day"; but then once I heard the Jefferson Airplane song "The Other Side of This Life" at that point in the show, I suddenly recognized it: THAT was the song they were playing in the film "Gimme Shelter" at Altamont! When the first significant Hell's Angels fight broke out, one of them punched Marty on stage, interrupting the song. So I looked up Altamont and sure enough: Dec 6 1969, it was the anniversary of that that day. So whether it was a coincidence or not, you happened to play that JA track on the anniversary of Altamont and someone very subtly pointed that out! What an astonishing puzzle and solution!
