Mark Dillman:

In regard to your British guest's comment, he would be very interested to know that as an American, in the early 1960s the VERY FIRST record I ever bought was in fact a British skiffle record, namly "Does Your Chewing Gum Loose Its Flavor (on the Bedpost Overnight)" by the truly great Lonnie Donnegan, a top 10 hit Stateside.
  12:38pm
paul:

  12:43pm
Baby:

  12:51pm
Mike Sin:

If Ron Ryan did indeed agree to this deal with Dave Cclark from "Bits and Pieces" onwards, it would have been separate from the music publisher and the record company. The contract would have been between Dave Clark (or "Dave Clark Inc." or some such). The major mistake was agreeing to have his name removed from all songwriting credits.

Esteban (NJ):

I love the Carvel and current (Julie) stuff!
