SLOAN Live: Rocktober Week 3! WFMU’s silent fundraiser continues! Please pledge!
Hey guys! WFMU is in the middle of a Silent Fundraiser spanning the month of October. WFMU is staging tons of events: live bands to listener meetups to get the word out! U know, I’m rockin it w/SLOAN today (Zounds & Wild Flag next week!) SEE the thermometer the top of this page? It shows I’m waay behind my Oct goal and Oct is ½ over! G'day, Terre! Just resuming listening after Hurricane Irene destroyed the very JC apartment I offered as a place for refuge if you couldn't get home. FEMA came through, but the landlord's actions reminded me of a DK song and a certain evil wish. And the "It could've been worse" mantra is still being sung by those high and dry. Keep well and avoid weather or Wall Street...
