Favoriting Bryce: Playlist from September 16, 2011 Favoriting

I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

Ashamed to admit, but I got the CD reissue of Affenstunde (on Spalax or sumthin?) ages ago & have neglected it like a sobbing puppy of sobbing neglected sobby sadness. This is righteous stuff.

  1:07pm
Cecile:

Someone should do Clear Channel like promos for Bryce. Like"BRYCE...Friday afternoons." in that deep radio voice.
  1:07pm
Cecile:

And then Bryce goes straight into a 60 minute raga.
  1:07pm
P4k:

Stand by for Ryan's updated c/c info
  1:08pm

ekalavya:

  1:18pm
Robert:

  1:19pm
BSI:

...give us this day our dairy dread...
  1:22pm
bryce:

hey ekalavya! paradigm discs put it out it a ways back, but i think it's still pretty findable online. good thing, it's a RARE record
  1:23pm
Cecile:

You could even do your own ID, BSI. "This is Blue Sausage Infant. When I'm in Jersey City, I set my dial to WFMU. Home of the rock!"
  1:23pm
hubba:

Hey Bryce and comment crew... Just snagged this on Phoenix, Paradigm copies are gone...

  1:26pm
Timekeeper:

Exactly half the show, as of 1:30 EDT
  1:27pm
hubba:

A soulful studio patch work commune jam sounding thing is that Bruce Palmer disc on Collector's Choice... i think there is a young Rick James holding it down on vocals.
  1:30pm
ekalavya:

Thanks Bryce & Hubba, I see I can still score it relatively easily...mucho mucho
  1:33pm
Cecile:

FE looked like they still had copies.
  1:41pm
Timekeeper:

After my cream of mushroom sandwich, I'm having sludge and misery for dessert.
  1:41pm
Cecile:

hubba, thanks. It looks like it is cheap on MP3.
  1:44pm
hubba:

I still can't download music... I mean, occasionally... I figure if I can't hold a copy or have someone show it to me, then I shouldn't hear it. In a way, it is a filter, so I'm not overloaded, or a lame excuse for having a computer from 2003.
  1:46pm
Cecile:

Wow, people must have been shocked at this followup to "The Choice is Yours." :D
  1:46pm
hubba:

I love the rare occasion when Bryce decides to share his knowledge of rock music... it is rare, at least in teh short time I've been hanging around in/out here.

But what is the deal with that Fog track?
  1:47pm
hubba:

@Cecile - hilarious!
  1:47pm
p.somniferum:

hmmm...Black Sheep sound vaguely like the Hellcows.
  1:48pm
Greetings from SF:

Black Sheep reminds me of a nightmarish Residents concert I saw last new years eve.
  1:51pm
ekalavya:

but hubba, then there's so much great stuff you can't hear!
  1:52pm
hubba:

I know...tinnitus
  2:03pm
Wikky:

"During performances Bob Log will often call audience members (both male and female) on stage to sit on his knee while he plays. Log credits years of drumming with his feet for his ability to simultaneously drum and support the weight of multiple people: "My legs are huge now. Sometimes I can get a girl on each knee and bounce 'em along." Log has distinctively used breasts as a theme in his performance and hired two "professional women" to use their breasts as percussion instruments on his song "Clap Your Tits". Log is quick to point out that all of these acts are carried out between consenting adults and individuals familiar with his brand of humor, stating, "First of all, if you come to my show knowing I've got a song called "Boob Scotch" and you get offended, I'm sorry but I've got to say just get out."
  2:04pm
bryce:

hahaaaa :)
  2:04pm

  2:24pm
Ike:

Last week, Rich played something that sounded a bit like Bryce and Billy Jam talking gibberish and slowed down slightly. But admittedly I was half-asleep. Let's see... ah it was Charlie Morrow.
  2:24pm
Looms:

Collapse = 90s classic :)
  2:26pm
