Favoriting Bryce: Playlist from September 2, 2011 Favoriting

I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

Bam! Hi Bryce.
  12:10pm
Dead Corporate Eyes:

definitely some Tazartes floating around this week, even on my local college station
  12:10pm
stefica:

hi bryce!
so, the other day, i was listening to one of your shows on archive. the internet hiccuped and kicked me off. i continued for ten minutes listening to office hum in the belief that i was listening to music on your program.
  12:10pm
βrian:

Why, it's in the air!
  12:10pm
MD:

HELLO FMU NATION!!!
  12:11pm

  12:12pm
stefica:

  12:12pm
Looms:

Hello all! Tazartès rules!
  12:13pm
MD:

  12:14pm
bryce:

  12:17pm
murph:

take me to the Tazartes office - its way cooler than mine
  12:17pm
Dead Corporate Eyes:

let's just say that the unattentive MAY miss portions of the show
  12:19pm
Hugo:

Dead air is not really dead ...
  12:20pm
stefica:

exactly, hugo, and bryce has taught us that. or was that cage?
  12:21pm
hubba:

I thought someone was standing behind me... dear lord... why i usually keep one ear bud off... but, then i miss out on the immersion... heart is still racing...
  12:21pm
bryce:

the real lesson here is that employment is undesirable
  12:21pm
bryce:

unless it buzzes or clicks good
  12:22pm
stefica:

employment is undesirable unless it can take place at home with cats.
  12:23pm
Looms:

Hum... Who said "Bite the hand that feeds most"?
  12:24pm
Dead Corporate Eyes:

every Wednesday morning there's a street cleaner that runs in our parking garage--world's loudest drone machine, right there
  12:24pm
Dead Air:

I'm just resting. Really. I'll be up in a few minutes.
  12:26pm
Hugo:

Employment is getting something for nothing ...
  12:27pm
hubba:

yeah, I'm just trying to do my part so my partner can get an art degree and my daughter doesn't become a zombie... I'm pursuing a master's and trying to sleep as little as possible to make life a bit mroe challenging... employment is just one of many mechanisms... having FMU as a reliable opiate is what makes my day bearable at times
  12:36pm
Air:

Rumors of my death are greatly exaggerated.
  12:36pm
annie:

only one more hour for bryce-ness.. then i have to go to work and the world of the dull repetitive ipod playlist

  12:43pm
stefica:

well, uncle bryce, if you'd help us with our grant proposals so we could stay home and tend to our Important Projects, we wouldn't have to get jobs that are beneath our dignity.
  12:43pm
hubba:

I'm employable because I have glasses and smell like fresh produce...
  12:45pm
Hugo:

Cats don't worry about employment. At least, mine doesn't.
  12:46pm
Winnie the Pooh:

All Important Projects have to be approved by the Floor Manager, then we have Honey
  12:47pm
Hugo:

It has always struck me that those who say it's easy to find jobs are those who have jobs.
  12:47pm
Cats:

U kant fire uz, we r 2 cyute, LOLz

Can i haz dead err, plz?
  12:48pm
Winnie Cooper:

My dad is Special Agent Dale Cooper, I wish he was home more, but he is always at this Lodge. I think he has another family.
  12:49pm
bryce:

this is an outrage. the world over, there are no more qualified or deserving layabouts to be found than right here. yet our most valuable entropy is being farmed out once again.

what the fuck, obama?
  12:49pm
nic:

  12:50pm
Durian:

I smell like fresh produce, too! (But I have few friends.)
  12:50pm
Carmichael:

I'm employed because the pickle farm needed a gherkin jerker.
  12:51pm
Barry:

Have a little patience, people. We are trying our very hardest to level the playing field by redistributing unemployment throughout the economy.
  12:51pm

not enough listeners are wearing their swag to interviews.
  12:51pm
Doc Brown:

  12:51pm
Barry:

  12:52pm
Cheri Pi:

@stefica-I once clicked on a chinese menu online and was switched over to the menu's music. I survived 2 hours of the that horrible loop thinking that Bryce was playing a very ballsy piece for radio.
  12:54pm
Marty:

I've gotta go back Doc, to stop Michael Gross from ruining his career...
  12:57pm
annie:

  12:59pm
annie:

Ike:

Oh great, Cheri Pi, now Bryce is going to find some terrible Chinese restaurant website music and play it repeatedly.

Oh no wait, that's Kenny G.'s M.O. Never mind.
  1:04pm
stefica:

@cheri pi, you are probably making that up, but i like it anyway.
  1:06pm
Red Balloon:

I hope everyone washed their hands... okay, be gentle... oh thank you, that feels nice

I saw Misha Mengleberg @ the Stone, and a he played something that sounded just like "The Laughing Song," After the show I asked him about it and he looked at me like I was from another planet. One of his accolytes (prolly a former student?), said, "Oh, he doesn't know anything about stuff like that."
  1:37pm
Looms:

"Accused, stand up!"
"Sit!" "Stand up!'
Hey! Not so fast!
  1:38pm
bryce:

  1:40pm
Dead Corporate Eyes:

Bryce: if you're going to listen to music in foreign languages you should show some initiative and spend a few years studying those languages first.
  1:41pm
bryce:

it's like with tom zé, to choose a random example — the music alone is so wonderful, it's more than enough to make me stoopid happy. yet, i know i'm missing a whole parallel dimension of brilliance
  1:42pm
Dead Corporate Eyes:

(saw that edit coming a mile away)
  1:43pm
Looms:

Oh, you DON'T miss the "whole" parallel dimension. 80% of GT vocals are influenced by "baby mumbling" (he says).

OK, right now, you're missing it.
  1:43pm
bryce:

don't blow my cover, dce, i don't want to end up like william colby

  1:54pm
Emoticons:

  1:54pm
