	1:49am coelacanth: Some marathons i was shit poor & still was compelled to give. Usually fun & funny...A couple years ago"they"decided to pair djs up without their consent...That DIDN'T work! I remember Stan's co host acted like a manic schoolboy- just didn't get it! ruined the vibe! A few shows,too there was power struggle between host & co-host...oh well Live & learn.

	1:53am Joe McG: They were famous for their long hair. The record company hassled the drummer for cutting her hair when she got tired of wearing it long. Or so I've read!

	1:59am 12539: WSJ agrees with Joe, "Fanny, by contrast, eschewed pop and folk for the rugged, metal sound of their male contemporaries. Much of their gutsy attack was the result of June Millington's powerful vocals and searing guitar solos."
	1:59am Joe McG: @T-Z: I'd say that's pretty accurate, although Goldie was known a lot for soul music since Goldie could really sing soul music like hell.

	2:01am Julie: The Clinger Sisters all played their own instruments too, but they didn't really rock till the late 60s. And where do the Pleasure Seekers fit in? Time wise though, G&G were the first all-girl ones recording I think.

	2:03am Matt from Springfield: @Julie: I'm sure of it. Even specializing in a decade, like 60s girl groups, you could prob. fit enough diversity to fill a whole show.

	2:32am T-Zero: @Joe: What I liked about it was both you and the Millingtons seemed to enjoy talking together. So many interviews you hear, they're ok, but it's like Oh, I have an obligation to do this, or ask this, but seem distant and not as personal.
	2:32am Word Up: It's the phattest shit and deserves to be rekindled.
	2:34am Joe McG: The Millingtons are really warm people, so I have to say, it was easy to talk to them. I was afraid of the interview being too long to listen to, but I could've talked to them for hours.
