we are headed up to MDI in maine in September. dont have any other plans really, i was in the Hamptons a few weeks ago for a wedding. got to see the Flavin Institute and the Pollock/krazner house, and a strange liquor store with a ton of pee wee herman stuff. otherwise i have been taking classes and hiding for the heat.im jelous you got to swim in the ocean

@Trouble - the Pacific was really, really cold but foggy and breathy and beautiful. I also went to Yosemite, where record snowfalls have made the waterfalls gushing and lovely and dangerous. Sad to back in the concrete jungle.

Well I am biased being from California, but it was really pretty. I do have very fond memories of going to Horseneck beach just over the border of lil Rhody into Mass. Great beach and easy to swim in the warm Atlantic.

Trouble, I went to see the Ponderosa Stomp:She's Got the Power at Lincoln Center last weekend and stayed to see the outdoor performance art piece Eiko & Koma:Water. I am not a performance art person but was really taken with what they did. Really worth seeing.
