	10:30am Scott: @cecile I had to read this book on '80s jazz in college and I thought at the time it was so lame but now I realize how much amazing music came out of that time. Wow.

	10:34am Cecile: Tim Berne made a rather noisy record for Columbia, and Henry Threadgill was on RCA for a few albums, with good results. And there were US indies and Hat Hut.
	10:36am Cecile: One of my very favorite jazz records, Henry Threadgill's "Just the Facts and Pass the Bucket" came out in '83. And that one is a classic.
