Meghan:

mornin Hank! Ohhhh, yeah, allergies. Not looking forward to that.....
  6:08am
Chuck:

Thank goodness I outgrew my allergies. I remember them all too well...
  6:09am
Meghan:

Your allergies change every 7 years..... so what you might not have been allergic to can become an allergy. Vice versa
  6:10am
Dave B:

Didnt know that was possible. i only recently started getting affected
  6:10am
MuttonChops:

Strange face, with your eyes
So pale and sincere.
Underneath you know well
You have nothing to fear.
For the dreams that came to you when so young
Told of a life
Where spring is sprung.

nick drake cello song
  6:10am
Dave B:

A literal "seven year itch", hmmmm?
  6:11am
Chuck:

Interesting. Still I haven't had any trouble from allergies in like 25 years. I'll take it!
  6:12am
Meghan:

I was never allergic to anything until i went off to college and came back home allergic to my mom's pet rabbit. Then when I moved down to the New York area, my allergies went crazy. I had to get allergy shots. it sucked.
  6:14am
Chuck:

Know what you mean, Meg. I would get the shots every week when I was a kid. Two in each arm! I was allergic to the world...
  6:14am
MuttonChops:

I am allergic to bad puns, mixed metaphors and split infinitives
  6:16am
Dave B:

  6:22am
dirty old man:

And what is so rare as a day in June?
Then, if ever, come perfect days;
Then Heaven tries earth if it be in tune,
And over it softly her warm ear lays;
Whether we look, or whether we listen,
We hear life murmur, or see it glisten;
  6:22am
Chuck:

Trouble is they're everywhere too, Meg!
  6:23am
MuttonChops:

Bravo! You dirty ol' bugger
  6:24am
Dave B:

@meghan - their throat closes up as you tighten your grip
  6:25am
Meghan:

Ha! True Dave! Morning DOM
  6:25am
MuttonChops:

When daisies pied, and violets blue,
And lady-smocks all silver-white,
And cuckoo-buds of yellow hue
Do paint the meadows with delight,
The cuckoo then, on every tree,
Mocks married men, for thus sings he:
'Cuckoo!
Cuckoo, cuckoo!' O word of fear,
Unpleasing to a married ear.

Bill S.
  6:26am
Chuck:

That doesn't work as well as clubbing them, Dave. Gotta knock some sense in...
  6:28am
MuttonChops:

a) people whom one had once judged rational and intelligent turn out to be unashamedly stupid.

b) day after day, with unceasing monotony, one is harassed in one's activities by stupid individuals who appear suddenly and unexpectedly in the most inconvenient places and at the most improbable moments.
  6:31am
Elwyn:

Morning/Evening Everyone!

This daylight saving thing is getting out of control! We just had it last weekend.
  6:31am
Meghan:

Both very true Mutton.... both sadly very true......

Morning Elwyn!
  6:35am
MuttonChops:

Spring is nature's way of saying, "Let's party!" ~Robin Williams
  6:36am
Chuck:

Then there's the possibility of running into a stupid person with a WHINNY voice! Makes my hair stand on end...
  6:38am
MuttonChops:

Flower Theme: Spring is sooner recognized by plants than by men. ~Chinese Proverb
  6:38am
Dave B:

Both Paris and Dublin were in bloom. Was kinda nice.
  6:39am
Elwyn:

As a bloke, I look forward to the ladies taking off the jackets too but nothing beats girls in the summer gear!
  6:40am

Things are only just starting to get buds here in the North...

  6:42am
Meghan:

Ah yes, one of the most politically incorrect songs.....
  6:43am
hank:

sap is running... in taronna sapper...
  6:43am
MuttonChops:

You gotta play the Duke's April In Paris
  6:43am
Dave B:

Hey Meghan - met up with listeners Pierre and Fred while there. Soon as I'm back on the book, I'll post em up
  6:44am
Elwyn:

To hell with political correctness...
  6:45am
Chuck:

I must concur, Elwyn!
  6:45am
Dave B:

the picture that is...

and yeah, I think PCness has gone a little far. To hell with politics, we'll get drunk on cheap wine.
  6:46am
Meghan:

awww! Nice! I love that we have this ability to be able to meet with people all over the world! I hope one day to be able to meet more listeners abroad!
  6:46am
Chuck:

MuttonChops:

  6:49am
MuttonChops:

She does have that Lena Lovitch silliness. Nina that is.
  6:49am
Rob from Maryland:

Good morning all. It's finally nice to have some spring weather. Tuesday was the pits after Monday's record warmth. These spring songs are going to be putting a spring into my step.
  6:49am
Dave B:

And even though my head and internal clock are still there, a friend called last night with a spare ticket to see Glenn Tilbrook at city winery. Was really good...

  6:52am
Chuck:

Say, how did you make out on your bid, Meghan?
  6:54am
Elwyn:

@Dave: I got invited to a private music festival on someone's property. It's on this weekend but I think I need to recover from bronchitis. :--(
  6:54am
Meghan:

She said it looked good, though she changed the kind of resin. So annoying. Said I was competitive with Greg.... not a shock....
  6:55am
Chuck:

Just thought if you want concert $. What kind of resin?
  6:56am
Dave B:

@Elwyn, best to get healthy first. There will be other shows/fests etc... In May I'm going to see Rammstein, then in June Peter Gabriel up in Mass..
  6:58am
Elwyn:

@Dave: I am fairly sure I'll stay home but winter is approaching. It's been raining everyday for the last fortnight.
Being sick really makes me annoyed. Colds mess up my blood glucose levels.
  6:59am
MuttonChops:

I love Paris, I love everything awwwwwwwwwwwww
  6:59am
Dave B:

  6:59am
MuttonChops:

  7:04am
Meghan:

hamburger / london:

...But what I do have are a very particular set of skeeballs, skeeballs I have acquired over a very long career. Skeeballs that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.
  7:31am
Dave B:

years back we had a bowling league at work. Used to roll at Port Authority Bus Terminal. Favorite game was when the opposing team forfeited, and my crew proceeded to "Martini Bowl"

Skee-Ball is now a competitive and social sport being played in bars in North America. In 2005, Brewskeeball.com created the first Skee-Ball based league in New York City. On February 12-14, 2010, Brewskee-Ball hosted the first-ever Brewskee-Ball National Championship at Full Circle Bar. The #4 seed Skee-Diddy won the first-ever national championship. William Ocean, #1 seed in the NYC Brewskee-Ball league appeared in the February 9, 2010 issue of ESPN The Magazine. A fully themed Skee-Ball bar, Full Circle has also opened its doors as the Home of Brewskee-Ball and is located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
