Listener comments!

  3:40am
Looms:

Magical music and terrible news. Rip Peter! And John of course.
  3:45am
jeff-m:

morning looms. Indeed, I'm not a huge fan, but the news made me more upset that normal when I heard it. Met him once at a festival, couldn't have been a nicer guy.
  3:55am
Looms:

Agreed about the nice guy he was (yes i met him too a few years ago). I'm a big fan of Coil and related side projects. Peter's death is not a big surprise though, for he was ill for a few months.
  4:04am
Looms:

Sounds like you're having a big cold, Jeff. Is the weather on the east coast as cold and snowy as in Europe?
  4:06am
jeff-m:

i wish, I love snow. Thursday is a big holiday here, so i think getting together with a bunch of people did it. I fill-in for Brian on Tues so I hope it doesn't get too bad.
  4:10am
jeff-m:

i always joke with my friend that a New Jersey snowstorm is just above freezing and raining
  4:19am
Looms:

Know what you mean, we usually have the same kind of snowstorm in western Britanny.
  4:38am
jeff-m:

speaking of Coil though.... I need to listen to more of it. They were always a band that I liked but sort of slipped by for me, so on upcoming shows I'll most likely be playing some more for sure as I adventure into it.
  4:54am
Looms:

Coil is to me one of the most singular and talented electronic project ever, the best part of TG's legacy. Lots of stuff remind me of them, and especially of Love's Secret Domain that seem to have a huge influence. It also was one of the most impressive band i have ever seen on stage. Though, as John said many times, the band has remained quite misunderstood. I have heard so many bullshits about them...
  5:00am
Looms:

Back to the music you're playing, you're killing it today. Your brain doesn't seem to be affected by the cold ;)
  5:08am
jeff-m:

Thanks man. Yeah, it's just my voice so far.
  5:37am
Bas, NL:

I had not heard of Peter Christopherson before.. makes me very sad to hear.
  5:40am
jeff-m:

nice write up of him on the front page here: http://brainwashed.com/
  5:50am
Looms:

Hi Bas!
Gotta go now. Hope my driving will be better than my typing today. If i owed the station one dollar each time i break your language, all its money problems would be solved. See you on tuesday!
  5:51am
jeff-m:

haha. Enjoy yourself, thanks for listeniung.
  5:52am
jeff-m:

you're English is as good as mine, and I speak no French, so you're way ahead of me
  5:55am
sara:
