Beautiful start Diane!
  12:05pm
Josh in Richmond:

Yea Fun Machine of Divine Wind!
  12:19pm
Patrick:

Diane, got any Monster X or Neglect 7" in the bin for today?
  12:33pm
SiHV:

Diane. You must have a Poison Idea 7" somewhere.
  12:34pm
Parq:

Miss K, two years ago, Irwin played an album track and justified it by saying that it *should* have been a single. Feel free to use that same dodge if you like.
  12:52pm
BSI:

John Astin: the One True Gomez. My spiritual leader.
  12:58pm
Cecile:

Chiller sounds like it would be a destination trip for my husband. It sounds like the SF Convergence with way more "mundane" TV, which is aces by me.
  12:59pm
Cecile:

Linda Blair is also very involved in pitbull rescue.
  1:02pm
dc pat:

BSI: agreed. Ever see Candy, super-soft-porn film with Astin in it? Classic.
  1:04pm
Listener David in Budd Lk:

The cartoon Harlem Globetrotters teamed up wirh Scooby Doo
  1:11pm
BSI:

DCP: That would be the film based on Terry Southern's novel? Haven't seen that yet but it's been on my list for decades....
  1:16pm
dc pat:

BSI: precisely. Ringo, Richard Burton, Walter Matthau ...and other famous people are in it too. Pretty ridiculous but highly entertaining.
  1:26pm
βrian:

Not rodents! Bats are in the order Chiroptera.
  1:44pm
EzSezz:

One heck of a long promo. What happened to singles going steady?
  1:58pm
Kev:

Could someone please tell me the name of the awesome surfish sounding music being played in the background? Thanks.
  2:21pm
greg in dc:

What an amazing party! Mick Taylor? If you can resurrect Bob Welch, I'm there. Some of my earliest memories are watching Zacherly on Channel 11. It would be so cool to meet him. Bill Moseley I went to college with. It's amazing what you can do with a Yale education.
  2:30pm
Parq:

Just coming back from lunch. Saw Candy ("Good grief! It's daddy!) on a double bill with The Magic Christian (another Terry Southern adaptation with Ringo) at the old Bleeker Street Cinema, back in the mesoszoic era. Pretty wild.
  3:00pm
Cecile:

I saw the Magic Christian on Australian TV when I was 15. It was amazing. Don't know how it would hold up no.w
