  1:46pm Brian:

That Junior Wells cut was also released as "Cut My Toenail" and it had vocals on it. I believe it was released on ther 4 Star label.
  1:48pm Brian:

I checked. It's on the Bright Star label. My mistake.
  1:53pm Debbie D:

I picked up the Junior Wells 45 last weekend!
  1:54pm Listener Jumpy:

Can you recommend a Bobby Freeman comp??
Thx.
  2:07pm seang:

that Johnny Fuller tune was so AWESOME!
  2:08pm Dancin Fool:

For your dance sensation edification, the Hully-Gully was a dance based on The Frug, which itself was a variation on The Chicken, invented in 1961 by Frank Rocco at the Cadillac Hotel, Miami Beach, Florida. The dance was based on the song of the same name, made popular
by The Olympics in 1959 ...now aren't you glad you didn't ask ?...as for the Slop?...dont ask
  2:15pm Listener Jumpy:

That would be OK if it is a 2nd rate comp--I have a lot of his 45s. I can only win....
  2:16pm JF:

I thought The Chicken was invented by Vito DiNunzio at the Boardwalk Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey circa 1960.
  2:16pm Brian:

I checked Amazon. They have a CD of his Josie material on the Collectables label and a CD of his King material that's an import.
  2:17pm Brian:

I meant to say those were comps of Bobby Freeman stuff.
  2:18pm CIRCA BC:

The chicken was invented by the egg.
  2:21pm Listener Jumpy:

Thx Brian!
I noticed the Tmen didn't play that song when I saw 'em. I'll request it....
  3:00pm liverspot:

I feel like drinking and fighting now...thanks for the Little Walter spin !
  8:03pm Tom Stein:

  7:37pm Cappy fitch:
