seriously, I'm a recent mac convert--I was hesitant but it only took about 10 minutes to get use to it.

i started using a mac for work purposes in 1992 & haven't used a PC since. Looking over my wife's shoulder at her Dell inspires a heady melange of laughter and nausea.

I use both plus Ubuntu. They all have problems but for getting shit done, I choose Mac.

now to be fair, applications have gone so hoggy that even the blessed Mac behaves like an ass at times. I've been a mac cheerleader for ages but the real answer is: in 2010, both platforms are a bit of shit.

BSI: 'tis true--my family desktop is windows xp and it's generally fine, but only because we don't install anything new on it. I use Sonar and Photoshop on it and that's about it.
