  5:05am Richard Watson Jr.:

You played "Be On The Lookout For The Woman" by Dick Watson and the Crescents February 13th 2010. I am his son Richard Jr. the band is from Haworth New Jersey, it was recorded February 1963. Their manager was Jane D. White and my grandfather paid for all the expenses to make the record. It was recorded in the Roulette record building in the Alllegro Sound studio in the basement and was pressed under the GONE label. Paul Vanderbeck was the lead guitar player in the group, he is a music producer today living in Pennsylvania. George Perrotta was his bass player and next door neighbor. Sal Rizzo was the drummer. Alan Hecht (died 1995) was the Sax player who became one of the most sought after sax players in New York by the 1980's.
  5:13am Richard Watson Jr.:

A total of 100 copies of "be on the lookout for the woman" by Dick Watson and the Crescents were pressed. I can account for the whereabouts of 35 of them. The Crescents were on the Ted Mack Amateur Hour Sunday April 29th 1962. A 90 second spot where they performed an instrumental song called "Rockin Lamb". I have had that entire show restored and put on DVD. The original film was in excellent shape thus making an excellent transfer to DVD.
