How many years? 9. You can hear 9+ years of Irene's archives. But you'd better hurry because by the time you've caught up, there will be a couple more years. Especially if you pledge money so that the archives can still be here for a couple more years.

  10:17pm
Danne D:

had to put a chunk of my mouse in to give props to trouble (and I'm enjoying the show Trent!). Anyhow, there's a sneaky away to get another shot at a buddha machine. If ya do a mouse pledge, I believe you can get a buddha machine from the prize warehouse!
  10:22pm
texas scott:

i pledged a million dollars to you and trouble....

can i get a buddha machine from ya now?

miguel,how much for da machinnee?
  10:22pm
Danne D:

FMU's budget is about the same amount that the Denver Broncos paid for a free agent Long Snapper. A friggin' Long Snapper people! Surely you can make a healthy donation to FMU and keep Trent's Monday's NFL free!
  10:25pm
trent:

DANNE MAKES A GREAT POINT. buddha machines available at the mouse level from the prize warehouse.
  10:28pm
texas scotty:

i'm working my way to the mouse.
gotta move some things around, know what i mean?
  10:30pm
Danne D:

Yup - I tried and put that on my pledge card, but totally mangled that sentence for the poor phone slave :( But I sooooooo am getting that buddha machine with my pre-marathon pledge :)

animal cracker collective
  10:44pm
Jim H:

How do you make a pledge with different parts of it pledged during different shows? Does the station keep a running total of multiple pledges, or is there an option that I'm missing?
  10:48pm
Fred:

My gawwwad. I won!!!!!!!!
  10:49pm
t:

more singing please!
  10:50pm
Fred:

Gee. And I once bought Thurston a cup of coffee.
  10:51pm
Danne D:

While I'm not an official authority, there are two things I can tell you:

1) Yes, FMU does track all your pledges - that is you can call in a $15 to one show and then call another show with an additional $15 pledge.

2) an option that is now closed for this year (but that you can do next year) is what's called a prize account. Basically I prepaid a big pledge ahead of the marathon (I think it has to be at least a mouse, not sure) and then checked a box "Prize Account" on the form and then I can dribble out my amounts over the course of the marathon (up to the amount I prepledge - if my called/webbed in pledges during the marathon totals more they'll indicate that on the form. More details can be found on the website I'm search if you search "prize account". There's a marathon FAQ btw.

PS - Congrats Fred
  10:51pm
Joshua K:

You can do a bunch of small pledges and then choose premiums and pay later when they send you the bill.
  10:52pm
Fred:

Awww. Thanks.
  10:54pm
texas scott:

thanks,Danne D!
  10:54pm
Melissa:

I am a girl and I pledged for Trent, not girls. When I want girls, I call 1-800-GIRLS.
  10:55pm
Jim H:

Cool... thanks for the info. I made a $180 pledge last week (charged monthly), and was thinking of upgrading to a Mouse Pledge. Was wondering best way to do that.
  10:56pm
texas scott:

ok,come on down to fort worth!

TRENT.
  10:58pm
Ike:

The New York Rock Experience? Seriously, Trent? You listen to that? WFMU *destroys* that station. Their segues are absurd and brain-damagingly awful. What kind of moron segues James Taylor into Arcade Fire and AC/DC?!? And yet they still overplay burnt-out old songs and their ratings are in the toilet.

Pledge now and keep the airwaves safe for good segues!

  11:04pm

  11:04pm

dave:

holy.
crap.
  11:05pm
dave:

yeah, seems like there ought to be other people in line for the rock band, it's cool if you want to pull somebody else for one or the other, doesn't seem like i should win QUITE so huge.
  11:08pm
brandon:

I want the live set! I'll fight you for it!
  11:25pm
dave:

ALCOPOPS AT TWENTY PACES!

FIGHT!
