The antique phonograph program is fantastic. i am a collector from the UK. I have 'Louisiana Lou' by George J Gaskin on a columbia brown wax cylinder.

It is wonderful to finally hear Victor 19626, the first electrically recorded Orthophonic record to be released!--Joan of Arkansas by the Mask and Wig Glee Chorus of the Univ. of Penna. and Buenos Aires by the International Novelty Orchestra conducted by Jack Shilkret, Nat's brother.
This is probably one of the most historically important recordings ever since it ushered in the era of electric recording. The quality is quite good and must have startled listeners at the time since the new process was not mentioned on the label or publicized by Victor. Funny that the Arthur Hall vocal on Buenos Aires still sounds acoustic, like the Billy Murray vocals that follow!
