Yaniv, Hatikva is the last song played by a show the broadcasts here in the NYC area only, not on the live audio stream. Occasionally, during the crossover, some of the last bit of Hatikva comes through on the audio stream.

he isn't playing the hatikva, it's from the previous radio program (on the normal radio, the ending of which sometimes appears on the internet stream as well) it's a jewish radio program i believe, hence why it's playing it

I enthusiastically recommend seeking out a copy of Maxine McGregor's book (as mentioned by Hugo, above). An intimate, insider's story of the South African jazz scene, first in SA, then in London after the Blue Notes hit Europe. Absolutely essential.

Wow, I'm glad my salt mines now have Foobar2000. If you click the correct buttons on install, you don't even need admin rights to put Foobar on a computer. Windows Media can slink off into a grimy corner and die.
