Favoriting Bryce: Playlist from January 2, 2009 Favoriting

I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

Ike:

Ah! Nice! Gentle yet complex sounds. May your new year be filled with fresh mangosteens that emerge from a wormhole to Thailand.
  12:20pm
Hugo:

Not to forget the rambutans (and the durians) ... I once tried durian candy. You only make a mistake once ...
  12:22pm
angela:

Mangosteen is by far the best in my opinion. In thai it is called 'mangkut'
  12:31pm
Stan-Lee:

Mmmm... I have in mind fresh (green) coconut milk shake with bananas and the warm sea at my feet.....
  12:34pm
bryce:

I'LL KILL YOU ALL FOR A BLURRY PICTURE OF A MANGOSTEEN.
  12:37pm
bryce:

with my cat o' nine durians.
  12:43pm
Hugo:

Something tells me I'm on the wrong side of the globe - at least at this time of the year ...
  12:47pm
Josh:

Mellowing out to the set today, thankssssss.....
  12:49pm
Ike:

Hugo, a lot of us are on the wrong side. Hence my wish for a windfall wormhole providing a gateway through the space-time continuum to SE Asia for fruit to pass through. And Angela is right. Mangosteen beats all other fruits.
  12:52pm
bryce:

easy with the jackfruits, tho. unless you wanna slide a pipe snake up your wormhole.
  12:57pm
angela:

jackfruit has a nice mild taste when I'm taking a break from mangosteen.
  12:59pm
bryce:

but don't stand under one with your mouth open.
  1:00pm
Hugo:

Ike, for the locals of SE Asia, nothing beats the durian, even though it's the most expensive of all fruits. But it does take an effort to convert the Westerner. SE Asian bananas are priceless, however, qualitatively speaking.

hi Brythe

I cannt hear you but I can see you

Bryce has the most RADDEST show on the planet!!
He is so punctual, well-prepared, and he dislikes clutter, and he's outgoing and so helpful...AND ALWAYS WEARS REALLY AWESOME SHIRTS :D
ilieK loves bryce!
  1:10pm
Ike:

Hugo, I like durian too. Just not as much as mangosteen. I don't mind the durian smell, and the texture is fantastically custardy.

The awesomely-shirted one raises an interesting question: Do space-time wormholes ever need to be cleaned out with intergalactic pipe snakes?
  1:11pm
Mark:

Happy new years Bryce! Thanks for the gamelan...
  1:12pm
angela:

i like durian too. Sometimes people get it's appearance mixed up with the jackfruit. But like you said, the smell makes it obvious that it is durian.
  1:13pm
?:

i meant "its" not "it's." sorry about that.
  1:31pm
Hugo:

Bryce is indeed the awesomely shirted one! But does he have a genuine Indonesian batik shirt? Insiders will know that the best place for those is the Sarinah department store in Jakarta. That's where I get them. Ahem ...
  1:34pm
Larry:

Hello Bryce. Gamelon music is good. I especially enjoyed the last half hour. I like Jakarta. Do you like Jakarta? Keep doing a good show.

Your friend,

Larry

Cool set! I picked up a great CD in Bali, I think it was called "Degung" or something like that. It's a bit trippier than this stuff. I will try to make a copy for you, Bryce. Also, please do a blog post about the Kauffman press conference.
  2:45pm
Ike:

We want a Bryce marathon premium marathon premium marathon premium marathon premium marathon premium. Premium. Maybe an MP3CD filled with long trippy gamelan pieces?
  2:53pm
bryce:

oh man, i know....STAN does premiums....

my head hangs low.
  2:59pm
Ike:

Well, get crackin' then! NOW, hippie!
