||||||||||
The Dark | Put Your Hand Through The Plastic (CD 2, track 28) (Listen: Pop-up) | Scream Until We Die | Grand Theft Audio |
They were from a suburb of Cleveland, & about 14 years old. The Cuyahoga River (which runs through Cleveland) had caught fire, Cleveland was / had been bankrupt, & the influence of such groups as Rocket From The Tombs, The Pagans, Pere Ubu, The Electric Eels & more was very much in the air.
These guys were so underage that, at least at 1 show, they were forced to stay in their dressing room, allowed out only to go to the bathroom or actually be on stage. Raw rock, punk & hardcore from 1982 Cleveland. If you're in Cleveland, check out the upcoming punk festival with bands from the early / mid 1980s....headlined by The Amazing Pink Holes! |
