St.Even Denver:

in your opening you forgot, "Maggots, Michael. You're eating maggots. How do they taste?"-Kiefer Sutherland,Lost Boys.
  10:14am
david:

Wha' happen? So that's where Fred Willard got that.
  10:18am
SmokinJ:

Words to live by!
  10:22am
Noah:

Always makin' Saturdays start off sooooo RIGHT ON!!
  10:52am
Paul:

Didn't the 4 Seasons release a song using the name "The Guess Who"?
  10:53am
SmokinJ:

Decaf is for quitters!
  10:56am
david:

Is it just imagination or are we hearing a lot of original songs that have been covered by Nick the Knife. I love it! Hadn't heard these before. Well done, Michael.
  10:58am
Paul:

To halfway answer my earlier question, they released a single as the Wonder Who. Not sure of the nameof the song. Michael?
  11:01am
chicky arad:

what was the sample you put into ABC? sounds like an israeli hit from the 60s-70s by gaby shooshan.

  11:05am
Parq:

NY Times reports that Paul Newman succumbed to cancer last night at 89. And that sounded like Jerry and the Pacemakers to me.
  11:06am
Noah:

Sounds like The Silver Beatles to me, am I wrong?
  11:07am
Paul:

Newman was 83. But you're right, he's gone.
RIP Luke
  11:07am
SmokinJ:

Very sad news Parq :(
  11:10am
Paul:

Just a snippet of something from The Sting would be a nice tribute to Paul Newman. Or Raindrops KFOMH from Butch Sundance.
  11:11am
Morgan:

or how about Plastic Jesus?
  11:14am
Parq:

Can we handle another Velvets song, "Pale Blue Eyes"? Or go in the other direction, with Limp Bizkit's cover of "Behind Blue Eyes".
  11:16am
Paul:

Celluloid Heroes would be fine, too.
  11:26am
Parq:

Great Ventures set. Is 'Hawaii 5-0' one of the greatest rock and roll songs ever, or what?
  11:44am
SmokinJ:

Another KILLER interview Michael... Ein Prosit!
  12:10pm
whom:

As I recall, the Four Seasons did a version of Dylan's 'Don't Think Twice, It's Alright' under a name like that above, but don't think it was exactly The Guess Who. I recall them doing this on TV with masks on. But y'all are in NJ; you should know this Jersey history like the palm of your hands, eh?
  12:54pm
Laurie:

I've heard this song on FMU! More than once. :)
  12:03pm
?:

Neat Everly Brothers song I never heard before, Micahel. Was it on from the Chet Atkins period or after the move to Capitol (Cathy's Clown)?

And wow -- what's the six degrees between Billy Thomas and his harmony singer, and Buck Owens and Don Rich? Just saying.
  12:05pm
peter:

?

that's me. Sorry. I'm doing the laundry.

Peter
  12:23pm
Howling Rabbit:

Sanford Clark originally did "The Fool" back in the '50s in a much more rockabilly-like style. It was much better than this '60s updated version, in my opinion!
