	12:41am Michael Ackerman: The drummer from the Thomas Function is driving drunk and he gets pulled over and has, if I recall the story, a gun and a bunch of pot in his car. So he gets arrested and afterwards in explaining what happened he says "it could happen to anybody!"

	1:16am C: Yes! The OOOO. I really want to see them play next month but the ticket prices are really hard to justify (they are the best live band in the world though). There was this really strange ticketing system where you basically had to buy a fanclub package to get a decent seat too which were like $500 plus the $100+ for the ticket itself.

	1:32am C: Oh yeah, thought you might appreciate this Evan. WBCN did an interview with HR of Bad Brains this afternoon that was pretty far out there. Don't think they're as on the ball with technology as FMU though, so don't think it's up yet.

	1:38am Sybil: OK, this one is pretty good: A New York drummer by the name of Joe was out of work and desperately searching for a gig. He went to the union office where they told him about plentiful jobs in Greece. "Greece?, the drummer said. The union representative replied, "Hey, do you want to work or don't you?". So the man packed his bags and headed off to Greece. He was to meet up with an old guy by the name of Tarek at a small pub near the town of Perin. Upon his arrival, he located the pub but Tarek was nowhere to be found. He tracked Tarek down later by phone. He said he needed him for a last minute wedding gig tonight at the Oasis hotel. There would be over 400 guests but unfortunately there wouldn't be time for a rehearsal. Tarek said, "Just show up with your drums and be ready to play." Well, the NY drummer wasn't that nervous. He he had played hundreds of wedding gigs back in New York and he was just happy to have some work. Joe arrived at the hotel on time. The whole band was there except the band leader, Tarek. He set up his drums and patiently awaited for the old guy. Tarek finally arrived 5 minutes before they were supposed to go on. He frantically set up his music stand and raised his arm to lead the band. "Wait!, shouted the NY drummer, what are we playing?" Tarek looked at him calmly (knowing he was a professional drummer) and stated, "Just relax and give me strong backbeats on 7 and 13."
	1:41am john: Oh sure, like there was a drummer anywhere even outside NY who could count to 7.
	1:42am Laurie: So, on this messageboard, some neo-con douchebag said this in response to the news that Wasilla under Sarah Palin made rape victims pay for their rape kits: "They can decline the rape kit if they want." In response, people started posting screencaps after they donated to the Obama campaign. $750 has been donated so far with more people pledging to donate after they get paid!

	1:38am Sybil: OK, this one is pretty good: A New York drummer by the name of Joe was out of work and desperately searching for a gig. He went to the union office where they told him about plentiful jobs in Greece. "Greece?, the drummer said. The union representative replied, "Hey, do you want to work or don't you?". So the man packed his bags and headed off to Greece. He was to meet up with an old guy by the name of Tarek at a small pub near the town of Perin. Upon his arrival, he located the pub but Tarek was nowhere to be found. He tracked Tarek down later by phone. He said he needed him for a last minute wedding gig tonight at the Oasis hotel. There would be over 400 guests but unfortunately there wouldn't be time for a rehearsal. Tarek said, "Just show up with your drums and be ready to play." Well, the NY drummer wasn't that nervous. He he had played hundreds of wedding gigs back in New York and he was just happy to have some work. Joe arrived at the hotel on time. The whole band was there except the band leader, Tarek. He set up his drums and patiently awaited for the old guy. Tarek finally arrived 5 minutes before they were supposed to go on. He frantically set up his music stand and raised his arm to lead the band. "Wait!, shouted the NY drummer, what are we playing?" Tarek looked at him calmly (knowing he was a professional drummer) and stated, "Just relax and give me strong backbeats on 7 and 13."

In response, people started posting screencaps after they donated to the Obama campaign. $750 has been donated so far with more people pledging to donate after they get paid!
