I think McCain picked her only because he wants to get busy with her

Ken's back! Have you brought recipes for that foot that washed up in the Sea Donkey?
9:04am

Welcome back, Ken. Loved the boat show!

Ken:
I liked that foot so much, I sewed it on! If you can x
9:07am
Lizardner Dave:
Actually, I think Sea Donkey should be the new name for SSD. Has a nice ring, doesn't it? "Sea Donkey with Ken and Andy".
Almost as good as "Happiness Hut".
9:08am
GP:
Ken..glad to have you back on terra firma. Morning all. Is it just me or does Miss Wasilla sound like Julia Sweeney ( "PAT" )f ormerly of Saturday Night Live?
9:12am
GP:
I hear there is a nice photo of her in go-go boots a la Nancy Sinatra.

I'm back from vacation in N. Dakota. They have radio there but no stations like WFMU. I heard a lot of the same songs that they were playing back in the 80s.

If you guys have some time to kill, the Sarah Palin entry on the Encyclopedia Dramatica is worth checking out. SOOOOOOO NSFW.

Whoever sent that Peggy Hill / Sarah Palin separated at birth photo...too funny. Thanks for that
10:09am

Ken, were you just using Tom Scharpling's voice modulator?
10:11am
gumby:
The really frightening thing about the Peggy Hill similarity is that I bet a whole lotta people would vote for Peggy Hill for VP or Prez.
10:13am
Mark:
Peggy Hill is more qualified
10:15am
gumby:
I wouldn't vote for Peggy Hill, she's not my kind. No claymation.
10:16am

how about phyllis schlafly for VP?
10:17am
Mark:
Yeah I'd vote for Davy or Goliath too
10:22am

I beleive neither Davy or Goliath meet the 35 years of age requirement.

Not to mention there overdeveloped sense of conscience. Washington would devour them.

i first heard of the great kat when she appeared on the Joan Rivers Show. Joan Rivers was doing a week of music on her show, she had GWAR appear too. it was a dream for me as a high schooler to see GWAR on Joan Rivers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWRKlNlRsgI
anyhow, i bought a great kat tape subsequently, which had her phone # in it! so i called the # and the great kat answered! she got angry and accused me of being on drugs right off the bat. then why did she include her phone number in the cassette liner notes? that was my brief brush with the great kat. she's a juilliard graduate apparently.

GWAR on Joan Rivers! Yoiks.
And thanks.

Karen in Sleepy Hollow:
Hey Ken, When will the gold vinyl and SSD DVD be ready?
11:10am
Mark:
Ken is this a prediction of a coming Muskie moment for Sarah Palin?
11:16am
Ken:
Karen - DVD is mastered, the Gold record is still being worked on.
Hm... Andy Cohen and Frangry are the same as (The) Night People? I've been slowly listening to the archives of those, and they talked about covering for Seven Second Delay, but I didn't quite get around to listening to the fill-in because it wasn't part of my spoon-fed ipod podcast setup.

For some reason that old Disco Duck song is stuck in my mind..weird, as I have not heard that tune in years

Yaphet KOTTO (rhymes with PHOTO). A cushion between the knees (your knees) while sleeping can help relieve the dull, lingering pain of sciatica. Something to do w taking pressure off the lower vertebrae. Sorry about your face.
11:45am
Ken:
I knew I was pronouncing Kotto wrong.. who the hell was he again? Richard - the grant was from Elliot Spitzer, Client #9!

A few years ago, I bought an electric muscle stimulator from a Taiwan or Hong Kong manufacturer. While it does not replace a skilled back rub, the electrical pulses on this model are supposed to simulate acupuncture, cupping, and rolfing. Kinda does the job, on the job. And you don't have to buy it dinner.
11:53am
gumby:
put your knee out if front of you while seated, bend the leg underneath. Cross the other leg over the knee and stretch your lower back towards your knee. That's good for the psiatic nerve. Sorry about the face crack (but it is one of my favorite jokes)
11:54am
Lizardner Dave:
Yaphet Kotto was the police chief on the very underrated Homicde: Life on the Street. He was also a bad guy in the Bond flick with Roger Moore that had voodoo in it, I think.
11:55am
elvie:
yeah, and he was part italian on that show.
11:57am
Ike:
The first 3-4 years of Homicide were brilliant. And that Bond flick is hilariously stupid because all the black people in Harlem are conspiring against James Bond. "Honkie at five o'clock!"

12:04pm
JJZ:
Ah, my confusion stems from them noting they did a fill-in for SSD, but then the only one in recent history I saw was for Andy Cohen and Frangry.
