Give me an A!
  12:07pm Bruce:

So Joe did you get a chance to hear that special mp3 I sent.
  12:09pm Joe:

Finally! A day off, so I can tell Joe Belock how awesome he is, live!

What up, efd!
  12:10pm Joe:

You should play something new, catchy, and with 3 or 4 chords or less.
  12:13pm Joe B:

like Johnny Rivers?
  12:13pm andy waltzer:

Damn! Brilliant opening set, it's officially summer with this music. Feelies and Sunrays, guess what- this show is awesome and makes summer feel like summer. Sorry I missed you, hope to see ya next visit!
  12:15pm Joe B:

Bruce - not sure if i Got it?
  12:19pm bruce:

Well if it does turn up its the first live outing of Time Fades Away since 73
  12:29pm Rubble:

Sea water AND drinking water. That Jonathan Richman sure knows how to party! HAHA! Gotta love 'im!!
Hey Im not kidding. My drinking water wasn't defrosted enough to drink when I was at the beach. I had seawater but no drinking water.
  12:41pm ?:

I just had a brilliant idea. I think it will change the face of radio forever. Three-fer Thursday!! I mean, if you thoughtTwo-for Tuesday was big, this blows it right outta the water! TH and TH get it? Two-fer Tuesday has two T's but THREE for THURSDAY has two DIPHTHONGS!
  12:48pm Anna Anabolic:

Great Ides of March song!
  12:51pm Cynthia:

Black Flag at work, great. Black Flag at EJ's? Priceless!
  12:54pm Panda:

I'm kind of shy and am trying to get over my shyness and I want to go to a beach party sort of like the back room staff party in Dirty Dancing. Or like a combination between a country club dance and the sad and sordid feel of Jonathan Richman's dance party plus Jamaican dancehall. Anyone know anyplace?
  12:56pm ?:

I think you have to create it!
  12:58pm C:

Panda, maybe a cruise ship?
  1:00pm Panda:

Maybe a barge on the Gowanus.
With lanterns.
If I throw it, will you come?
  1:03pm ?:

Patio lights lanterns? Actual lanterns? Tiki torches?
  1:05pm Panda:

Paul Revere.
  1:08pm Rubble:

I am not particularly shy... :) but I've always wanted to go to a real clambake. I don't mean a catered clambake, I mean a dig the hole collect the seaweed hot coals all day affair clambake with a bonfire and torches......
  1:09pm GUMBY:

We used to have good beach parties on the Raritan Bay at a place called Lost Beach, but then they built a ferry terminal and the cops would patrol it and that was that. The trick was to get drunk fast enough, (before dark) so that you didn't care about the sand fleas gnawing on you. A gidget shindig it was not. But we did drink the Fleshtones infamous Blue Whales on the beach opposite the Varanzano Bridge and dance to keep the sand fleas at bay.
  1:09pm C:

I think I need to pick this and the new Pogues box set up this weekend.
  1:26pm GUMBY:

Soul Jerker with wiggly saxophone, YEAH!
  1:26pm Panda:

Does Joe Belock know of any clam bake/barge/Dirty Dancing/sand flea partees?
  1:30pm ?:

YES YES! Let's send that to RS and pitchfork and everywhere we can think of!! Let's at least get to the point where they have to refute the rumor. Then the seed will be planted!
  1:34pm Joe:

Wrecktor? I barely knew 'er!

I am ashamed of myself.
  1:45pm Rubble:

HAHAHAHA!
  1:46pm Rubble:

and Wrecktor wrecked nuttin. Sounds awesome! :)
  2:03pm Randy in NC:

Joe- Actually you have played a lot of NC bands. Off hand I can think of SCOTS, The Loners, The Moaners, The Gondoliers,....
  2:07pm Joe B:

You are right Randy. Dexter Romweber was on the show as well. If only I could get the Spongetones!.
  2:44pm ?:

  2:47pm C:

i hear there's a slurpiefest going on tomorrow
  2:48pm Cynthia:

I challenge them to come up with Slurpiefest tunes to match those! :)
Maybe they should be punk songs, pistols style ! :)
  2:59pm dc pat:

Man, that Michael Yonkers tune was great.
  3:03pm Rubble:
