Every show starts with the ’70s! We’ll rediscover forgotten rockers, revisit unfairly maligned disco beats and replay power-pop favorites. Next: plenty of new releases, occasional live bands and more. Don’t let the nickname confuse you.

Sybil:
An evening that starts with dancing barefoot is always a good evening!
john:
Sybil:
Speaking of which, Julian Tavarez has found anew home... with Boston's other team.
The Braves are still in Boston, right?
Joe:
Those boys got one hell of a roster
john:
efd:
give me a few minutes to get caught up with the playlist over here...
oh, and get ready to wish Toni Daytona a happy birthday.
Droll:
Sybil:
Wait... is Toni Daytona male or female? Both? Neither?
efd:

And with the Yankees playing the Rays it almost doesn't matter who wins.
Almost.

Laurie, I like that explanation so much I don't care if it's right.
efd:
Toni, will this do as a birthday request? I don't think gold dust woman will fly. (sorry, HotRod!)
john:
Sybil:
BBBBBBut you did!
actually, this confirms my opinion that this show RULZ!
HotRod:
I should've written that it's a "portmanteau" of "yeah" and "elle".
Ah, oui oui. C'est bon!
Joe:
efd:
Jessica:
No, wait, that's someone else.
[Yay, Hot Chocolate!]

OMFG Hatch. I was the one who made EFD's class creds. Evan, the film was a-frickin-mazing. This is not the place (or time) for a review, but can we work something out?
HotRod:
Joe:
But c'mon, it's the lady's birthday, Ev.
toni d.:

One man's opinion.
Jessica:
efd: I share your antipathy. I go so far as to shout at the screen whenever a "scarf over the lampshade" prop appears. Which happens in Buffy vs. Dracula, thus ruining the otherwise totally effing stellar episode.

HotRod:
I'll try to break up the pieces and go home.

Sybil:
Stevie Nicks wrote one single song that made me rethink my hatred of her: that would be "Landslide".
I think Dixie Chicks did a much better version.
And I'm too tired to argue this further. Every 1's a winner baby.
over by here:
Joe:
over by dare:
Sybil:
Amanda:
Sybil -- It was the somg "Storms" that made me totally rethink my position on Stevie Nicks, and I did a total 180. Weird.
Agreed about Steinski, for sure. Let's hug it out.
Sybil:
More later.
HotRod:
Amanda, will you be hanging in the Heights on 7/23?
Joe:
HotRod:
john:
And I loved Storms too.
Sybil:
Amanda:
7/30 and 8/6 are go!
Joe:
efd:
plus there are ants in the studio, yuck.
efd:
Sybil:
Who doesn't?

HotRod:
Have fun getting away!

I have it from a good source that a bunch of swag shipped this week, but I don't want to specify in case that's wrong or partially right. I'm just psyched to wear my hoodie on my vacation down South.
Yay also for Spiritualized. A belated yay.

"The easiest way to do this is get a cable that is male stereo jack on both ends, Plug one into your phone (it should have a headphone jack) and the other into your PC. Then use a program such as audacity to record it"

I swear I wasn't listening.
Amanda:
Joe:
FYI: the point of the show was Andy trying to call DJs who had, in his estimation, bad timeslots, so they could complain about them to Ken, on-air.
Joe:
efd:
Droll:
[GONG] I think I get the gist of The Fall already.
Jessica:
I actually did listen pretty regularly to the 7SD, until I called in with a streetfight story one day, having just read about my streetfight story in someone else's not-actually-fiction short story collection, but which story's delivery was judged "too polished" so probably made up.
I guess I'm still scarred.
[aye]
Joe:
I don't think it's the "best" time slot... I think Andy is just a jerk. Bob Brainien was the only DJ who picked up, and he actually hung up, midsentence. It's funny if you like "cringe" radio.
