I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

yeah, ngh, that instrument's a trip, right? there's a picture in the liners. it's a one-string unresonated fiddly bit. it's held vertically: hand on top, twixt toes at the bottom. a 2nd free string's tied to the bowed string & has a wooden disc at the end. the disc is held behind the player's teeth, the string taughtened..... bowcoder!

ted, according to the notes, that Adat remains from pre-christian/islamic days & is still central to their schtick. among other things, it involves ancestor worship.....including re-burial.

you can discover and play with a mechanical Gamelan, thus understanding the concept and the working of a Gamelan. Of course it will never match the witnessing of a live Gamelan, but there you can participate.
Enjoy!
