  12:42pm Hugo:

Svarte greiner - that looks/sounds Norwegian to these eyes (and ears). Black branches - in English - for your info.
  12:44pm m:

  12:46pm Ike:

Any suggestions as to what recordings would be a good "starting point" for Ihan Mimaroglu? ... absolutely enjoying this piece.
  1:05pm Stolenfire:

Yes, Mimaroglu was (is?) from Turkey.
  1:07pm nyoukis:

that slowscan Christiansen LP rules.. think you can listen to it in its entirity at ubuweb along with a bunch of his other stuff. http://www.ubu.com/sound/christiansen.html
  1:10pm nyoukis:

great piece with Mimaroglu in issue 13 of the much missed BANNAFISH magazine, still pretty easy to pick that up, comes with a cd too!
  1:12pm vinh!:

ahhh ubuweb. Of course. Thanks for the info, nyoukis!
  1:14pm north guinea hills:

mimaroglu used to be the head of the music dept at columbia until they instituted their no smoking policy. he then resigned rather then being stuck w/ the indignity of not being able to smoke in his own office/studio.
  1:17pm nyoukis:

if you got $45 to spare hansonrecords.net have a copy of that Christiansen LP, and some other Slowscans, including the one by Becks grandad.
  1:18pm Hugo:

I'll smoke to that ...
  1:18pm bb:

holy god this is awesome.
  1:27pm north guinea hills:

i've never heard henning christiansen before, very very much full of awesomness!!!
  1:36pm seanh:

  2:17pm chris:
