Out here in Berkeley, CA, over the last 24hrs we've had 5 very personable Obama volunteers call to encourage us to vote - which vote is in fact going to be for their candidate, with pipe dreams of an /Edwards ticket - and several rounds of Duelling Clinton Auto-Dialers. My answering machine is filled with half-pitches and transfer-click-bleeps. I can't wait for the morning, when the calls, and the governor's larcenous casino development schemes, will fade from culture-gone-wrong outrage to cocktail-chatter guffaw.

EFD’s hair-metal-loving cousin Evan “Snake” Davies was dying to return to the airwaves in October after a four-year absence. However, this request was vetoed over concerns that his appearance might have had a deleterious effect on our Hellraiser efforts.
