	11:21pm dave: i can't imagine i'd have ever thought the line "there's been too many bungalows built for my liking" could really RAWK. it just goes to show you.
	11:30pm efd: I have to admit, until I saw that Dancing Did single at the last WFMU Record Fair I didn't even realize they had any other records out besides the great "Lost Platoon" on Stiff, which I've played often on my Mayhem shows. I think it's funny that whoever wrote their Wikipedia entry described them as "British Goth Folk Rock"
	11:37pm dave: i can see the "folk" part, but i'm not too sure about the "goth" part. they seem too ANGRY about the fact that people are covering england's green and pleasant shore with single-family ranch-styles to be really called goth.
	12:05am Randy in NC: Watch the SNL TV Funhouse cartoon Maraka. A take off on Dora the Explorer. She calls the cat on it Mi--ens dropping the T's just as you describe.
	12:17am efd: MI--ens -- exactly! I haven't seen that cartoon, but I'll have to chec k it out. I first heard that from a woman I was working with years ago who was from Middletown NJ and kept talking about her new ki--en, so that's why I associate it with that area, rightly or wrongly.
