Speaking of mashups, I was pleased to notice last night that Go Home Productions put pretty much everything they've done up for easy download.

Welcome, I'm afraid this concludes our anti-tribute to the California wildfires. I could play fire songs all morning but that would be too easy.

10:42am
Ken:
Alas, I still cant curse or play any non-FCC friendly records because our signal at 90.1 fm is still on the air. I'm almost tempted to put the iPod on 90.1fm....
10:46am
Bryant:
It'd be kind of embarrassing if you were halfway through a recitation of "Howl" when 91.1 suddenly and unexpectedly came back on the air, giving the FCC special-operations team license to kick their way into the studio and put their collective boot to your throat.
10:46am
mildred:
i must know the name of that tune between goody goody and o homem da bicicleta. pleeeez
thank you much.
it is odd coincidence for me that here today was the hall of the mountain king and this other one. so i might differentiate them And know there names at last as both are the few strings to childhood madness! yay

As a Schwab and an erstwhile Germanist, I'm dying to know the Herkunft of the "Schwabingrad Ballet" -- as inspiring a number as Toedliche Doris's cover of 12xU
10:48am
Carol:
Up here in northern Vermont . I always used 91.1 as the static radio frequency to play my i-pod when driving. Recently, I set it to 91.1, and was listening thinking it was my i-pod when it was really the radio. I've never heard a dj so I had no idea I was listening to my favorite station, never knew the WFMU call letters because I listen on-line. Up here, 90.1 is WRUV, our college alternative radio.
