Listener comments!

  5:42pm Sarah T.:

Yikes, I've been packing all day (Tokyo for six months, new job in Chicago after that), and the 6/18 show has been sublimely, supremely, almost sillily perfect for packing, heavy metal riffs, screams, swampy guitars and all... immense gratitude from Providence!
  2:58pm Cranny:

Mike, I was amused on your comments about Circle. They are a good band, but the reality is really different to your imagination. I saw them play an outtdoor gig on a warm summer night, at a small club. They seemed like nice polite rich kids, who had listened to too much Kraut Rock. The singer also tries to sing like Robert Plant live, which is quite comical, but they have no charisma at all, and after half an hour they sound like muzak. Scary Finnish mountain giants they arent, more like accountants on holiday.
  3:02pm Mike Lupica:

Cranny:

Hmmm, that's funny. I've met the Circle guys on their visits to WFMU, and they strike me as thoroughly genuine, utterly devoted to what they're doing, and operating respectably outside the realms of any music scene that my try to eclipse them.

Also, you haven't really lived until you've seen Jussi roll around in a pile of Black Oak Arkansas records.
  3:11pm pete in LA:

The label on my FMU T-Shirt tickles the back of my neck. Get a lawyer.

p.s. thanks. No Reservations.
