October 4, 2005: Me & Tom DeLay
*****DeLay-- known as the Hammer, for his not-too-subtle approach to politics-- was recently indicted by Travis County DA Ronnie Earle. I got "indicted" by the same Ronnie Earle, back in 1973 or so, when I was living in Austin. He was Justice of the Peace back then and I got busted (along with a bunch of others) for attacking an ROTC Parade with squirt guns. I paid my debt to society-- and now I am a law abiding citizen, give or take.
