He talked about the public broadcasting congressional hearing, which he characterized as a battle of "lunatic villains" -- MTG on the Right, and NPR chair Katherine Maher on the Left. Huh?? This seems like a real false equivalency. I'm not a fan of NPR, but in a lot of places it’s the only thing on the left of the dial besides Jesus. I know Ken's cranky about the NPR Twitter typo that referred to WoofMoo as "crappy," but that was over a decade ago. We can throw a lot of shade at NPR that is very justified, Nobody's perfect, but Ken kinda showed his ass with this remark at a time when the stakes are very high for us all.

He talked about the public broadcasting congressional hearing, which he characterized as a battle of "lunatic villains" -- MTG on the Right, and NPR chair Katherine Maher on the Left. Huh?? This seems like a real false equivalency. I'm not a fan of NPR, but in a lot of places it’s the only thing on the left of the dial besides Jesus. I know Ken's cranky about the NPR Twitter typo that referred to WoofMoo as "crappy," but that was over a decade ago. We can throw a lot of shade at NPR that is very justified, Nobody's perfect, but Ken kinda showed his ass with this remark at a time when the stakes are very high for us all.
