' Holger Schüring (24 March 1938 – 5 September 2017), known professionally as Holger Czukay (/ˈʃʊkaɪ/), was a German musician best known as a co-founder of the krautrock group Can. Described as "successfully bridg[ing] the gap between pop and the avant-garde", Czukay was also notable for having created early important examples of ambient music, for having explored "world music" well before the term was coined, and for having been a pioneer of sampling '...

Thanks again for the comments. I wanted to exclaim that I just had so much fun going back and forth between your show and Big Planet Noice, occurring simultaneously on GTD. What I'm saying is that I find your shows Compliment each other as opposed to being in conflict. So fmu-ish.

You wouldn't want to drive it at night in the wilderness in the NYC area due to the cold. Oh it's got heat, but you'd have to keep the top and windows (side curtains) ON which detracts a lot from the fun. Thanks for looking and chatting!

i looked forward to the show all week long.
...but it's not too bad on mondays, because the 2 shows are so entirely different that the choice usually is clear, depending on my mood.
but i used to listen to that show every week too, so it's definitely a compromise.

Yes, you're right, it's a Compromise. I didn't want to dwell on the negative aspect of "the conflict," or even call it one, but to realize while you and I may be disappointed, there will probably be others who will in some other way, benefit. But I could never get "pissed off" at fmu for anything.
Except if they changed in any way - then, I would get pissed off. I mean, no ads and great music played by great and wonderful and generous people. Dude, there are many other things to get pissed off about. Take a chill pill and accept the things you cannot change.
