Discotech Underground is actually two...two...two shows in one!

The first half is a "Happy Hour" of sorts (because it's five o'clock somewhere, right?), spinning the kinds of sounds you might have heard at a real, authentic 1960's DISCOTECH as cool cats and swingin' chicks danced the night away in their mod threads and mini skirts to hard-driving sounds under the flashing lights! The only thing missing are the cage dancers...but we're working on it!

The second half is for when you head home after a wild night, and ease in with the heady, trippy, mind-expanding sounds of a groovy free-form UNDERGROUND rock radio station that digs deep into their library and blows your mind all over again!

Yes, I know the album. It's not that much like the other regular Seeds album, it's basically a blues record. It has it's unique charm but again, it's not like what one would expect knowing the rest of the Seeds recorded output.

You are correct, and if there were a fourth one, it would likely be fake. The time between the release of the album and Moon's death was very short so there just wasn't any real opportunity to have him sign any copies. I am happy to have the three that are on it, though, I found it in a record shop for ten bucks...! It even had a COA inside that the shop people missed!

I've never heard this album. I mostly lost interest after "Who's Next". I saw them a couple of weeks after "Who's Next" came out and was blown away, but I actually much prefer their albums up through "Tommy".

It's not their best but it's not as bad as some have suggested. It has some standout tracks on it and it is Moon's last LP. There are some throwaways and compared to "The Who By Numbers" which came right before, it's a lesser effort. Of course, the title track is an FM radio staple.

i had a copy of With the Beatles - the cover text in french, the labels in german. i tracked down both the french release and the german release and listed it on discogs for a little less than the going rate for either version.
someone asked me to double-check the runouts. he said my album was issued this way...pressed in france for a german release.
'not outlandish but if so, mine is the only copy to grace discogs, and therefore might be considered "rare".

...i could've been sleazy about it and taken it off the market for the moment; relisting it later with a higher price.
but no. he did the research. he can have it.

maybe i tilted the scales slightly away from eternal damnation.
