(Mostly digitally, but there are limited run CDs and tapes, too.) Tribe Tapes is going a long way toward helping preserve the rapidly disappearing cassette art of the 80's and 90's.

Already I have trouble sending mail to "nicknames" and people who use something other than their real name. I've had some packages and mail not delivered because of a "mail art" component I added. Heavily influenced by Dr Demento, Don Joyce and old fashioned College Radio, Austin creates Audio Essays on a variety of subjects, and even just plays records, from time to time. Sometimes Live music and Interviews will grace the program, helping create a situation where you don't really know what you're going to hear, when you tune in. (Mostly digitally, but there are limited run CDs and tapes, too.) Tribe Tapes is going a long way toward helping preserve the rapidly disappearing cassette art of the 80's and 90's.
