WFMU is cited in a venture's efforts to trademark "Assholes live forever." From what I can tell, the court (or PTO panel?) cites this blog post: https://blog.wfmu.org/freeform/2006/12/the_good_die_yo.html. The venture has not so far prevailed, and I doubt they will.

Daws' characterizations for H-B Productions were slight variations of celebrities' voices.
E.g.:
Huckleberry--Andy Griffith
Jinks--Marlon Brando
Yogi--Art Carney

(The Ranger was voiced by Don Messick.)

Speaking of Yogi Bear, Yogi Berra once came down to WFMU to record some promos for a benefit event. WFMU was in East Orange (NJ) and Berra lived in Montclair. His people searched for the closest possible recording studio, and they found WFMU. Berra came down to the station and Stork engineered the recording of some promotional spots. It was all as perfectly charming as you might imagine.
