It starts out slowly & rapidly accelerates, sounding very much like a large beast running towards you, which, in a place that has bears, moose & other large animals can be a hair-raising experience, I tell you.

	3:46am Adi From Sheffield: When Sheffield was heavily involved in the steel industry you could hear the drop hammers of at the steel mills/forges all over the city. It was like a heartbeat that everyone got used to. Not intrusive but somehow comforting. I actually remember the day it stopped.
