It was a free gig at Trinity Church Sunday. Cymande was at Irving Plaza. That wasn’t my fave but the band made it worth it but it will take quite a lot to get me to go back to Irving Plaza again.

He still can blow though he definitely takes breaks and lets the other guys in the band solo.I saw him in October too and then with others earlier in 2024 so I think I’m good for now unless another free gig pops up. I’d see him again for free but no real need to see him again for a bit.

I was not there and probably wouldn’t have been there even if I was in NOLA. By Stones show prices, their day at Jazz Fest was reasonable but I saw them a few times in the 90s and that was enough for me.
