Yeah I'm gonna be filing our tax return soon and see what I can contribute from that hopefully, but I think really most of the cost is living expenses since they have to rent a place in the city. Medicaid covers the cost of surgery and drugs

I can't believe that-she hadn't been appearing on the chat boards in a while, but sometimes people just get sidetracked.
She was very nice-I was having some issues with streaming and stereo gear in my system, which I complaied about. She messaged me, her husband was professionally involved in stereo and they semt me some helpful suggestions (she did this on her own). I'm so sorry to hear about that, condolences to the family!

my first interaction with sue on the boards was over erin the kitteh. the spelling of kitteh was new to me, so she filled me in that it was a 'thing'. she followed me on instagram almost every post... when she disappeared, i thought she was bored of my posts or took a cruise or something. condolences to her husband who was always an offstage prescence in her posts

Very true :( My mom has been grieving over the lost of her younger cousin who succumbed to a massive heart attack and coma last week, his younger brother died from the same causes at 24 and their sister had cancer but is still with us, she only has one other cousin she only met once

I believe I am the only one here who has heard Hakon Kornstad live. (At the Velvet Lounge in Chicago.) He was very talented, but I suspect temperamental. He ended rather early, I think because of the small audience.

Yeah the idea the 'kids' invented making Albums conceived of *as Albums* as a whole in some way in the mid~later 1960s is given the lie by an entire genre like Exotica for example. (& someone like BrianWilson in L.A. a little more familiar with that world ? Thought George Martin had done Comedy & has the Classical training...)
But Sinatra (& Arranger & Producer & such) doing it is closer to such a Suite happening with Pop Music & Songs I suppose...
The change with the market for TheBeatles of the kids even buying Albums for themselves was maybe as significant in its way (things like Soundtracks would remain Biggest Sellers into that era I think if you consider the actual Charts)...

There's a Watertown, TN located 42 miles east of Nashville. One of the only train rides you can take here (other than one short commuter line) is an excursion trip to Watertown & back. In the summer Watertown also still has an operating drive-in movie theater.
