I don't hear a syllable spoken on it by journalists, no one raising the question of how the research(?) and assessments are proceeding. No one needs to tell me, so don't bother, that the people ordering and doing the busting and closing and cutting don't give a shit about their own accountability or appearances related to it, or tell me the social/political bent of the targeting -- that much is ringingly clear. But we need some recognition that QUESTIONS about the methods and measurements seem to be MIA. Haven't heard ANY such questions asked in these high profile Oval Office moments or anywhere else.

A colleague there in a meeting yesterday said that they have a family connection deep in the Republikkkan party, closely connected with the names we despise... so they called up and asked "What the hell?" This connection saisd that Republicans in congress hate these cuts, and don't want to be associated with them and don't want to justify them and don't want to deal with them.
