More or less, it was just various airchecks that he tracked down, broadcast roughly in chronological order. He would mix back and forth between airchecks from roughly the same time period, and it became a kaleidoscopic overview of what radio used to sound like. I think that series ran almost 100 episodes?

Most of it was old radio dramas, but not knowing what it was, bringing home a Bob & Ray set was one of the best discoveries I made via the library that way. It was a real eye opener; I had never heard or seen them before.
