I used a number of digital tools to restore the sound so that you could even make out what they were saying, but as a result, some of the voices are a little stilted.

I know that, for the stations that ran X-Minus One (and kept running it), mail usually came in often enough to keep the show running. Many stations where it was popular would re-run old episodes during off-weeks (like the one mentioned), so fans wouldn't forget. There was so little Sci-Fi on the radio at all, and the audience was so poorly served that, fans would let stations know that they were listening.

That 1965 Italian movie was spoofed in SCTV and “Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me”. (The band Ming Tea, who sang “BBC” in the first Austin Powers movie, found their name in “The 10th Victim”.)

I certainly want to track down all the source library music someday. I track down bits here and there.

I know that, for the stations that ran X-Minus One (and kept running it), mail usually came in often enough to keep the show running. Many stations where it was popular would re-run old episodes during off-weeks (like the one mentioned), so fans wouldn't forget. There was so little Sci-Fi on the radio at all, and the audience was so poorly served that, fans would let stations know that they were listening.
