A zillion years ago, Nina Hagen was doing a live broadcast of her (usually done in Berlin) TV show "Talkschau" at Joe's Pub and I won two tickets. We sat right next to her. VERY cool lady. And damn she is TALL. I mean, with her platform heels on she was at least 6'5" and I'm a pretty good gauger of height because my brother is 6'5". Anyway the show was great, and it was fun schmoozing with Nina and getting to actually use some of my German even though I was way shy.

And damn she is TALL. I mean, with her platform heels on she was at least 6'5" and I'm a pretty good gauger of height because my brother is 6'5". Anyway the show was great, and it was fun schmoozing with Nina and getting to actually use some of my German even though I was way shy.
