Darryl's first books were his "World's Worst Records" volumes (on the far left in the photo). They were for a bit of a niche market. So was quite pleasantly shocked when i walked in to a major bookstore and saw a copy of "David Bowie Made Me Gay" on display. I was like: hey, I know that guy!

And I felt proud, like: our little boy has grown up.

We are on the last song, by the way! Sorry for cutting out, there's sadly not much I can do about it.

This is freaking amazing! Love the amazing mismatch between the rhythm section and the guitar. Absolutely bottom-drawer, as I used to say on Darryl's show.

Don't sweat it too much. The show's fantastic. I similarly had internet issues at my old place. You're soldiering on admirably.

I found this record in the summer last year and it's been played like three or four times already. I can't get enough!

Well, now it's on my Discogs wantlist - a fitting tribute to WWRS, as that program was singlehandedly responsible for growing my wantlist to the point where I will never catch up.

Hey, it's over! Much thanks, Miss Mei - like I used to tell Darryl, this was the best worst.

I've discovered some interesting records while looking for some material for today's show - you'll hear some more weird things next week!
