Obscure musical gems, avant experimentation, and classics worth rehearing. A conurbation of Leslie speakers, timbales, plungers, arch-tops, tablas, and squeaky reeds. Black ties, pork pies, Cuban boots, Nudie suits, bobbysocks, turtlenecks, and high-heeled sneakers. Jazz is the north star but it’s a wide universe, so says The Laughing Clock.

hyde, you are welcome any time! adamdoesit, welcome. pot8o great to see you too!

Gregory, I'm looking under the couch cushions now because I don't want to after January 20.

This is as good a time as any to remind everyone that on January 19 I'm dedicating the entire show to the President. Lester Young, that is.

Huh! I almost lost my InstaPot when the tiny silicone cap on the pressure valve disappeared. I wrote them and they said that they could not sell individual parts. So the entire thing is junk because of a missing part smaller than my pinky nail??? Fortunately, I found it hiding under the refrigerator, so I'm back in business.

LG, I'm pretty sure you can get aftermarket silicon caps on Scamazon. One came with my color coded gaskets (which I failed to code by) iirc.

I thought I was going to cook split pea soup. Instead, I've got instant pot rump roast, rice pilaf with peas, and roasted cauliflower with bacon fat and Aleppo pepper. Maybe I'll make soup of the leftovers.
