Crazy that Lou & Roy died so close together as they were two of the oldest living Jazz musicians. At least Marshall Allen seems to be going strong. Was just chatting with him a few weeks back. Doesnโ€™t look like heโ€™s 100.

He was leading The Arkestra at a tribute to John Gilmore. Marshall wonโ€™t get on planes any longer but he tries and plays gigs in the northeast if heโ€™s feeling up to it as he lives in Philly.

Had some friends in from Amsterdam and they had a great time digging at the WFMU record fair both days. I didnโ€™t join them though I almost went Friday to watch Matt do his show live but didnโ€™t feel like paying for entry so went to another gig before I went to see Ana DJ later on. She DJs as Coco Maria. Did Eilon Paz ever reach out to you about being in Dust & Grooves Kris?
