The next the teacher would only talk in German even though he knew we had no knowledge. The third I was so behind I was the teacher's target. I was summoned to the principal office, and just said "she's delusional, I'm not even enrolled in her class" I didn't get suspended, but the admin gave me grief after that

I got in because I made her laugh, sneaking absurd humor in every essay. Later, admin got back at me by ruling I could only be an honor student in math or English to get to the national competition (there was no such rule, even in my school). I chose English, though I had no shot, just to honor that teacher (plus, she'd get points from my qualifying that to get a move to a place of her choosing). Giving the finger to admins was just an incidental bonus
