We're finally getting out of DST this night, a confusing time ahead, out of sync with the station for a while. When is that switch in the US?

Me too! The version we listened to when I was young was on an album of traditional music from the Ozarks. I think the musicians on that one were young men or teenage boys who sounded like women to my ear, which made it even more confusing.

I just looked up the lyrics to that song. Makes me think of Tom Dooley. You killed the girl?? Why?? No explanation?? C'mon, give me something to go on...otherwise I'm just perplexed.

Has anyone ever heard an old Halloween recording I’d describe as, “Don’t Turn Around? Which is repeated again and again throughout the scary monologue. I heard it late one night on Chicago radio in the late ‘70’s.

November 6th will be scary, in a deja VU, Twilight Zone episode with a twist way. I heard about a temporary monument dedicated to January 6th participants on the DC mall yesterday. Comes down on Halloween appropriately.

Twilight Zone stories (Charles Beaumont!) often begin with someone taking a wrong turn. Drawn from life, in the first place, I suppose.

“Matty Groves” by Fairport Convention might fit in this set. Pretty creepy epic tale.
