October 28, 2024: Episode #90: WFMU Origin Stories
On today's show, we'll learn how some of your favorite Give the Drummer Radio DJs got here: their early love of radio, how they learned about WFMU, and how they ended up on these "airwaves." Who is telling their stories today? Irene Trudel, Kip Brown (Discotheque Underground), Bronwyn B (Acid Jazz Hands), Rich in Washington (The Radio is Broken), DJ Peter (The Laughing Clock), and yours truly, Wendy del Formaggio (Wreck Your Own Adventure). Drummer DJs reveal all!

loved that super-spunky woman's banter - that was awesome! Missed the premise, however, as well the her name and FMU affiliation; if someone would be please be so kind - many thanks!

connected to hear the Clay Pidgeon show. You had a call in segment of what could likely be good at that time in local farmer's markets which that day was some New Jersey specific tomato. You pointed out that it was not that that tomato had anything specifically superior about but that since it was local and in season that there was good odds to get optimal tomato taste. Your presentation was informative and entertaining. Great radio.
